History SpongeBob Squarepants

History
SpongeBob Squarepants to begin in 1993 when the film Rocko's Modern Life first aired. One producer Stephen Hillenburg, a cartoon worker / marine biologist who loves cartoons. When Rocko's Modern Life was canceled in 1996, he began working on SpongeBob Squarepants (although some sketches have been created in 1986). He worked with creative director Derek Drymon, who has worked on shows such as Doug, Action League Now!, And Hey Arnold!.

Drymon has worked with Hillenburg on Rocko's Modern Life film, as did dalamm SpongeBob Squarepants, including writer Tim Hill and voice actors Tom Kenny and Doug Lawrence. Other crew in the Nickelodeon cartoon on the previous film is the former editor of Angry Beavers story Merriwether Williams, who had worked previously on Nickelodeon and switched toSpongeBob Squarepants in July 1999.

Production Hillenburg Spongebobs done by giving the concept of short comics with the same style in the previous film, but the characters look different. SpongeBob Squarepants formerly SpongeBoy, and used to wear a red hat with a green base and pants with white shirt with a tie. The name "SpongeBoy" does not make it into the movie since it was inaugurated name used by Bob expenses, creator of Flaming Carrot. Hillenburg later chose the alternative name " SpongeBob . " The original name was referenced in the show by Mr. Krabs' line, "SpongeBoy, I'm Bob!." Krusty Krab was originally spelled with the letter C, not K, but Stephen Hillenburg thought K's were funny.

Rise to popularity (1999-2000)

On May 1, 1999, SpongeBob Squarepants The first episode aired, "Help Wanted / Reef Blower / Tea at Treedome", after the 1999 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. At this time, Rugrats was at the peak of its popularity and has produced more as a small-budget cartoons.SpongeBob Squarepants, with generally lower-class animation and humor style more rooted in clever wordplay and cultural references do not like potty humor that made Rugrats so popular, is expected to be just one of those other shows. After the initial struggle, with the ratings soared, and a year after release, it exceeded the Nickelodeon shows Rugrats as the highest value. SpongeBob's signature voice (provided by Tom Kenny) and humorous style fun for both younger and older audiences.

Peak years (2000-2003)

The event begins second season in 2000 with a higher quality animation and even more popular episodes. At that time it was clear to the world that SpongeBob Squarepants has opened the door to many other cartoons to use more "mature" sense of humor and come from smaller companies. In 2001, The Fairly OddParents aired from the then-small company Frederator. It focuses on a sense of humor similar to SpongeBob's, only more realistic, a little crazy (and more suggestive for the "adult" topics), and with more references to pop culture, this event was a hit and currently ranks behind SpongeBob Squarepants as Nick The second most popular show.

In the same year, Invader Zim aired, created by comic book writer Jhonen Vasquez; was dark but silly sense of humor (similar to others Vasquez comic books) that managed to attract a very loyal cult following consisting more of teens and adults than younger children (although it also contains a moderate amount of pre-teens). SpongeBob Squarepants, however, was the leader of all of this and has shown this time to start now famous merchandise line.

2002 also saw the bright side, as the first part of that year saw SpongeBob Squarepants at its peak. Beginning the third season produced many classic episodes and focused on the same style and animation concepts. Another year also saw a low budget show with popularity (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius), but things changed at the end of the year. Since the rumors of a movie, there is high speculation that the show will be canceled and that will feature new episodes last season 2003/2004.

Fans devastated and online petitions were widely distributed to convince Nickelodeon to produce more episodes by showing fan support continues. SpongeBob Squarepants Meets The Garrotting / Pranks A Lot "is the last episode of this season, and aired in October 2004. After that, the movie It was released in November of that year.
